Learning to dance builds the characteristics that nurture achievement in all endeavors; characteristics like discipline, hardwork, confidence, and refinement.

The Dance Branch of ArtisTree® is dedicated to developing young children, and young at heart dancers of all ages, as well as increasing the awareness and appreciation of dance in the community. Our professional staff offers a wide range of dance classes with quality instruction for dance students interested in various forms of dance. Proper dance technique is lovingly taught in a disciplined and creative learning environment.

The first exposure to movement begins in our Budding Artists program for ages 4 (by Dec.) through 5. The Dance Branch begins at age 6 with Kindertanz, a developmentally appropriate pre-ballet program. Formal training follows at age 8 in ballet and tap, and later, when the student demonstrates a solid understanding of the basics, theatre jazz, modern and pointe are added to the dancer's training package. Performance opportunities include annual productions, the biennial Prairie Nutcracker, and many other theatrical performance opportunities.
