At ArtisTree, we build, root, educate, enhance, produce, inspire, create, respect, respond, and nurture thinking individuals.
Dance Branch Live at the Forum

Our Roots

ArtisTree is an idea whose seed was planted more than 80 years ago outside New York City. The entire story of ArtisTree was celebrated in our 25th Jubilee annual production, SilverTree at the Fox Theatre in 2004.

Since 1977, ArtisTree, formerly Andrews Dance Studio 3100 and Toddler Tree Preschool, has been growing as a complete performing arts idea. From the youngest child through adults, every student receives quality instruction from qualified instructors emphasizing proper technique and the development of individual talents. The heart of our educational philosophy is expressed in our Plan for Dance.

Our Home

ArtisTree at 116 S. Main St.

Housed in the Forum, two adjacent historical buildings in downtown Hutchinson, Kansas, ArtisTree was founded in 1998 as a Main Street model for integrating arts, education, and entertainment for a richer community life.

ArtisTree is also home of the Prairie Nutcracker©, a favorite Hutchinson biennial holiday tradition and heartwarming tribute to the prairie spirit.
